Last Wednesday evening the Revenue Measure Committee concluded their five-week study on the City's financial situation.

We've noticed some of the improvements going on in the park and stuff and that kind of impacts the setup for Thursday Night Marketplace.

Yeah, unfortunately, you know, the park got pretty beat up over the winter so we had to make some changes.

They've planted the grass new grass on the west side of the whole park the Irwin Street side and so that really affects us.

So we're going to move off the grass just about 100 percent, unless it's a tent.

All of our food vendors will be parked along Dowdy Street, facing into the park.

So one of the things that I see in the marketplace is I see a lot of people bringing blankets and chairs, so this will actually open up more space for them to be able to do that.

You know barbecue trailers, but there's a lot of different kinds of foods that are going to be available and some of those food trucks actually have blossomed into businesses downtown.

The Acai Bar had a food trailer out at the market for the last three or four years, I believe, and the Ola Cafecito has been out to the market, but that's happening.

If you walk around and I challenge everybody out there, just walk around from Lush to the Superior, to El Tarasco, to Fatty Albers, to Zaytuna, to any quesadilla gorilla to acai bar, they'll all be full on Thursday night marketplace and sometimes when it's really hot, they're all full until about 7 o'clock and then people will come into the market.

This year, actually, the very last market this year is going to be on Halloween night and we're going to have the Marie Wilson band in from Fresno.
